Welcome to the 2017 SCATA Annual Symposium

The Executive Council and the Program Committee welcomes you to the 2017 Annual Symposium. The program committee has worked hard to plan out what we believe will be a rewarding conference for our members. We encourage any and all feedback from our membership in efforts to make our future meetings a greater success .

Please take the time to meet and talk with our vendors. Without them this meeting would not be possible.

Thank you for your attendance and enjoy the symposium!

Symposium Attire

We strongly encourage participants to dress in a manner befitting professionals while attending educational events and exhibits. Business casual: shirts , slacks, skirts and blouses (no jeans or shorts) is the recommended attire.

SCDHEC CEU REQUIREMENTS

Every two (2) years DHEC requires each Athletic Trainer to renew their South Carolina certification.

Each Athletic Trainer must submit two (2) of a possible four (4) CEU cards that can be obtained while attending the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association annual meeting. Each year there are two (2) designated speakers t hat have been approved by the DHEC committee to obtain these SCDHEC CEU's.

DHEC will send each Athletic Trainer written notification informing them of their renewal date. It is the Athletic Trainer's responsibility to forward a copy of two (2) SCDHEC CEU cards and a copy of their current CPR card to DHEC.
