Mentorship Project

The SCATA Mentorship Project's purpose is to encourage established professionals, young professionals, and athletic training students to network with each other to build a stronger athletic training community in the state of South Carolina. The SCATA Young Professionals' Committee (YPC) facilitates the program and will make every effort to pair mentors and mentees in the most appropriate fashion based on the information we are provided and then the mentor and mentee will be asked to follow general guidelines to determine communication, goal setting, and follow-through.

Mentee eligibility will be based upon current status as a student in a CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program or an athletic trainer within years 0-6 of initial certification.  Mentor eligibility requires 7+ years from initial certification.
